Crown Kids Return & Refund Policy
At Crown Kids, we want you to be delighted with your purchase. If, for any reason, you are not satisfied and wish to return an item, please carefully review our refund policy to ensure a smooth process.

General Returns
- Eligibility: Returns for change of mind, unsuitable fit, or incorrect selection are eligible for store credit only (unless the item is deemed faulty, flawed, or incorrect).
- Timeline: Items must be shipped back within 7 days of your case being accepted by our team.
- Condition: Items must be in their original condition—unworn, unwashed, and with tags still attached.
- Shipping Costs: Customers are responsible for return shipping costs, which are non-refundable. Original shipping fees will not be refunded or included in store credits.

Item Inspection Before Shipping
- We take detailed photographs of each item's condition before packaging and shipping. These photos are securely stored on file.
- Refund or replacement claims based on item condition will only be considered if there is clear evidence of damage or fault upon delivery, verified against our pre-shipping records.

Faulty, Flawed, or Incorrect Items
- Process: Contact support@crownkids.com.au within 3 days of the delivery date to report faulty or incorrect items. Cases opened after this timeframe will not be accepted.
- Resolution: Once verified, we will offer a replacement (if available), a value adjustment, or a full refund.
- Shipping Reimbursement: If an item is deemed faulty or incorrect, return shipping costs will be reimbursed.
- Exclusions: Wear and tear, misuse, or items altered in any way do not qualify for returns.

Exclusions
- Final Sale Items and Accessories: No returns are accepted on final sale items or accessories under any circumstances.
- Colour Variations: Colour differences caused by screen display settings are not considered faults. For questions about colours, please contact us before ordering.
- Damaged-in-Transit Items: If an item is damaged during shipping, take photos of the packaging and product and contact us immediately.

Return Process and Deadlines
- If we accept your return, items must be shipped back within 7 days of acceptance.
- A tracking number must be provided to us as proof of shipment. Returns without tracking will not be processed.
- Returns must include your name, order number, and completed returns form for identification.

Order Cancellations
- Orders can only be cancelled within 3 hours of being placed, provided they have not been processed.
- Non-refundable merchant processing fees (e.g., AfterPay, PayPal) will be deducted from the refund amount.
- Once processed, orders cannot be cancelled.

Exchange Policy
- Size or Style Changes: If you need to exchange an item, email support@crownkids.com.au. Exchanges are subject to stock availability.
- Customers are responsible for return and new shipping costs.
- We recommend reviewing our sizing charts carefully to ensure the best fit.
- Store Credit: If an exchange is unavailable, store credit will be issued.

Pre-Order Policy
- Non-Cancellable: Pre-orders cannot be cancelled or refunded once placed.
- Exchanges: Pre-order items may be exchanged for in-stock items of equal or greater value.
- Delays: Pre-order dates are estimates, and delays caused by fabric sourcing or customs are not grounds for refunds.
- Colour Variations: Re-cuts of pre-order items may vary slightly in colour due to new fabric batches and are not considered faults.

Terms & Conditions for Returns of Faulty Items
- New Condition: Items must be returned in new condition with original tags attached. Items that are worn, scented, washed, damaged, or altered will not qualify.
- Customer Responsibility: Items are the customer’s responsibility until they reach our warehouse. Pack securely and retain tracking details.
- Refund Processing: Refunds will be processed after verification. Non-refundable fees (e.g., AfterPay, PayPal) may be deducted.

Additional Notes
- Photographs: Product colours may vary slightly due to monitor settings or lighting. These variations are not faults.
- Inspection Upon Delivery: Customers should inspect items upon delivery and report issues within 3 days to be eligible for a refund or replacement.
